Apple Pie Overnight Oats

Creamy, make-ahead overnight oats that taste just like apple pie — only 5 minutes of prep at night and breakfast is ready by morning.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of your choice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped apple
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans optional

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, applesauce, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, and mix thoroughly.
  2. Stir in the chopped apple and pecans.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or at least 4 hours.
  4. In the morning, give the oats a stir and add a splash more milk if you'd like them looser.
  5. Spoon into bowls or jars and enjoy.
